He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Demery and Gieneva Million Demery; and his sister Judy Ruth Demery. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Demery of Clinton and Joann Kay (Robert) of Honea Path; his half-sister Alicia Davis; his grandchildren, Dakota Chase Kay, Brandon Walter Demery and Anna Grace Elizabeth Demery; and his nephew Trevor Davis.
