He is survived by: his wife Jessie Coleman Davis of Edgefield, SC; his son Jerome Mathis (Latina) of Saluda, SC; and his brother Mose Davis (Maggie) of Saluda, SC. He is also survived by in-laws; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
