He was predeceased by: his parents, William George Hood, Sr. and Edna Elizabeth Suddeth Hood; and his siblings, Betty Novasky, Margaret Weisner, Robert Joe Hood, William George Hood, Jr. and James Kenneth Hood.
He is survived by: his wife Rachel Louise Whitlock Hood; his children, Robbie AngelLynn Hood King (Fred, Jr.) of Piedmont and Regi Hood (Kathy) of Williamston; his siblings, Louise Harris (Roy) of Pelzer, Kathy Horne of Pelzer and Charles E. Hood (Debra) of Pelzer; and his grandchildren, Gage Daniel Hood, Fred B. King, III and Jonathon T. King.
Due to Covid-19, the family requests that masks be worn, and social distancing observed.
