He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest, Sr. Smith and Princella Byrd Smith. He is survived by: his children, Orenthal James Smith, Sr. of Piedmont, SC, Ernesto Hall of Greenville, SC, Zernesto Hall of Greenville, SC and Ivory Hall of Greenville, SC; and his brother Bob Wayne Smith of Williamstown, NJ. He is also survived by two grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
