He was predeceased by: his father James Columbus Cherry; his wife Pat Hopper Cherry; and his siblings, Ronald Cherry and Debbie Brock. He is survived by: his mother Alice Canty Cherry; his children, Jennifer Jordan (TJ), Scotty Cherry, Danielle Wise (Alex), Bryson Cherry (Jordan Earney), James Gray and Duane Hopper; and his brothers, Jimmy Dean Cherry (Pat) and James C. Cherry, III. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
