He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Wineman Dowling; his daughter Sonja McClanahan (James) of Appleton, WA; and his daughters-in-law, Catalina Ervin of New Orleans, LA and Rene Ervin of Los Angeles, CA. He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
