He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie D. "J. D." Allison, Jr. and Vashti Chambers Allison; and his siblings, Faye Elgin and Don Allison. He is survived by: his siblings, Morgan Allison (Jan) of Greer, Bonnie A. Owens (Tony), David Allison (Cindy) and Larry Allison (Jan); and his sister-in-law Linda Smith of Piedmont. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
