He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Henry and Mary Lena Crawford Ayers. He is survived by: his wife Jane Frick Ayers; his children, Audrey Ayers Noble (Michael) of Powdersville and David Trent Ayers of Piedmont; his granddaughter Laney Elizabeth Noble; his sisters, Ruthie Ayers Edmunds (Barry) of Abbeville and Mary Anne Rice (Billy) of Seneca; and his nieces, Meg Ferguson, Kathy Alley, Mandy Brown, Jennifer Nelson and Marianna Fleming.
