He was predeceased by: his parents, David Monroe Doby, Sr. and Norma Funderburk Doby. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Ryals Doby; his children, Ricky Doby (Jamie Hyman), Ryan Doby (Ashley) and Rhonda Sims (Ray); and his grandchildren, David Doby, Dorian Doby, Arielle Sims, Nolan Sims, Landon Doby and Hayes Doby.
