He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Cooley and Carrie Davis Cooley; his son Wayne Cooley; and his sister Lenora Holmes. He is survived by: his sons, Terry Cooley (Debbie) and Doug Cooley; his stepchildren, Robbie McDaris (Sunshyn) and Dawn Wood (Doug); his grandchildren, Stephanie Elmore (Brandon), Devan Cooley, Trevor Wood, Justin Wood, Weylyn McDaris and Aiden McDaris; and his sister Mary Jo Hitt.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Greenville Humane Society, 305 Airport Road, Greenville, SC 29607.
