He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Livingston Alexander and Helen Horne Alexander; and his siblings, Ronnie Alexander and Rosemary Smith. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Julian Alexander.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Bessie Road Baptist Church (575 Bessie Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673). A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (173 Drace Ave, Greer, SC 29650).
