It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claude Dean Jr. (Piedmont, South Carolina), who passed away on July 26, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Dean, Sr. and Willie Mae King Dean; his former wife Clara Dean; his brothers, Lonnie Dean, Joseph Dean, Lawrence Dean and Eddie Dean; and his granddaughter Jamesha Gilliam.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Jefferson Dean; his siblings, Lucius Dean of Jamaica and Betty Dean of Detroit, Michigan; and his aunt Mabel Hauser of Winson-Salem, NC. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
