Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Clara Phillips of Piedmont, South Carolina, who passed away at the age of 92, on February 2, 2021. She was predeceased by: her husband Steve Phillips; her parents, B. F. Smith and Beulah McClain Smith; her son Wayne Phillips; and her sisters, Margie Howard and Betty Grumbles.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara P. Garrett (Donnie) of Pelzer and Dwight "Peanut" Phillips of Piedmont; her daughter-in-law Joletta Phillips (Pat) of Bloomingdale, GA; her sister Peggy Galloway of Piedmont; her grandchildren, Josh Garrett (Alice), Brandy Phillips (Nick), Hannah Myers (Wes) and Dr. Caleb Phillips (Kayla); and her great grandchildren, Brooks Garrett, McCrae Garrett, Lewis Garrett, Clara Garrett, Olivia Hawthorne, Layla Wynn and Alexis Phillips-Abbott.
Due to Covid-19, the family requests that masks be worn, and social distancing observed.
