It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Morton (Piedmont, South Carolina), born in Monroe, North Carolina, who passed away on March 19, 2019, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Morton and Vivian Ball Wheeler; and his siblings, Robert Gibson and Donna Eden. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Basford Morton; his children, Michelle Lowery (Kenny) of Rock Hill and Charles Morton, III (Susan) of Kershaw; his siblings, Patricia Gunter of Rock Hill, Aston Morton of Rock Hill, James Morton (Nancy) of Rock Hill, Stacy Morton of Rock Hill and Henry Taylor of Rock Hill; and his stepchildren, Danny Thornhill (Julie), Lester Thornhill (Amber), Roger Thornhill and Sharon Thornhill.
