Bob McDowell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bob McDowell in Piedmont, South Carolina, who passed away on February 26, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Glenn McDowell and Bertie Grubb McDowell; his wife Billie Kelly McDowell; his son Robert S. McDowell; and his siblings, P. G. McDowell, William McDowell, Jack McDowell and Gail Cox.
He is survived by: his children, Stan McDowell (Meredith) of Fort Mill and Starr M. Albert of Rock Hill; and his sisters, Blanche Vaden of Cleveland, TN, Patsy Sides of Salisbury, NC and Carol Smith of Pasadena, TX.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mr. McDowell's name to the Shriner's Hospitals for Children, 950 W. Faris St., Greenville, SC, 29605.
