He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Childress Collins; his grandchildren, Breanna Dyer, Kaitlin Dyer and Adam Dyer; his great grandchildren, Bentley McWhite and Jayce Riley McWhite; his brothers, Bobby Childress (Randee), Sammy Childress (Jo), Ted Childress (Sherry), Joe Childress (Rhonda) and Tommy Looper (Nancy); and his sister-in-law Faye Childress. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
