He is survived by: his wife Deborah Elaine "Debbie" Turpin Bridwell; and his children, Rachel Norris of Greer, Rebekah Howard of Greer, Josh Stegall (Katie) of Piedmont, Justin Bridwell of Piedmont and Emili Bridwell of Piedmont. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
