With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bill C. Armour (Piedmont, South Carolina), born in Lincolnton, North Carolina, who passed away on February 21, 2019 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick Armour and Beulah Watts Armour; his wives, Nancy Burris Armour and Clara Williams Armour; his son Jeff "Bodine" Armour; and his siblings, Margaret Armour Pullin, Tom Armour, Jack "Bo" Armour and Charlie Armour.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Armour (Rita) of Catawba, SC and Pam Sturgis (Joe) of Rock Hill; his daughter-in-law Becky Porter; his grandchildren, Mark Armour (Kelly), Katie Starnes (Dalton), Rebecca Harrell (Phillip), Joseph Sturgis (Summer), Ben Sturgis, Kristin North and Jana Hancock; his sister-in-law Bobbie Jean Mangum; his daughter Lisa Carroll; and his close friends, Linda Adams of Rock Hill and Sonny Adkins. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
