With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty English in Piedmont, South Carolina, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on November 5, 2024 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bartley Liles and Virginia Kuykendoll; and her siblings, David Kuykendoll, Sheila Cope, Tommy Liles, Butch Liles and Billy Liles.
She is survived by: her husband James English; and her children, Bobby (Lori Brooks), Ginny Brooks (Jerrell Brumly), Robin (Dewayne House), Miriam (Shane Deal) and Robert (Bethany Ganus). She is also survived by her brother, Ray Hopper; 12 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel (2133 Ebenezer Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29732).
