With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bettie H. Herron in Piedmont, South Carolina, born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on August 17, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ozzie Lee Helms and Bertha Lee Smith Helms; her husband Albert H. Herron; and her son Daniel Herron. She is survived by: her son Dr. Joe Newton Herron (Cathy) of Westminster, SC; her grandson Collin Herron (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Layne N., Aiden C., Sydney R. Herron, Dr. Sarah L. Herron (Clark C. Anderson) and Savannah D. Herron Faires; her son Michael Rhett Herron (Judy) of Rock Hill; her grandson Curt Herron (Stephanie); her great grandchild Victoria Byrd (TJ); her daughter-in-law Dianne Sweat Herron; her grandchild Ashley Herron (Michael Chandler); her great grandchildren, Ashdyn, Robbie Collins and Tonya Case (Earnest); her brother Harvie Helms (Jean); her brothers-in-law, Dick and Clyde Herron; and also, Lydia D., Emma C., Nora A. Faries, Caleb F. Herron (Stephen R. Seay), Noah J. Herron (Sarah E. Sobeck), Annabelle A. Herron, Leonidas T-Bird, Ryan Howard, Shelby, Charlie Case, Billy Rhinehart, Jennifer Rinehart, Michael Rinehart (Claudia) and Haley Rinehart. She is also survived by her many nephews and nieces; her best friend and companion.
