She is survived by: her children, John Franklin Thompson, Jr. (Jeff) of Clemson, SC and Virginia Thompson Dewey (Chris) of Sharon, SC; and her grandchildren, Ellen M Dewey (Geoffrey Horton) and Pierce F Dewey.
