Althea Hopper Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Althea Hopper of Piedmont, South Carolina, who passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Althea shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Althea farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Eugene and Vinice Olivia Droze Lamb; and her husband James Hopper of Piedmont, SC. She is survived by: her children, Henry Joseph Lamb, Jr. (Janet) and Cynthea Lamb Smith (Gary). She is also survived by five grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Greenville Memorial Gardens (7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673).
