It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma G. Haynes (Piedmont, South Carolina), born in Greer, South Carolina, who passed away on August 24, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Esley Haynes; her parents, Belton Godfrey and Ruby Leroy Godfrey; her children, Randall Haynes and Debra Shelton; and her sisters, Hazel Pittman and Brenda Cox.
She is survived by: her children, Roy Haynes (Wanda) of Greenville, Linda Lark of Pickens and Margie Cox (James) of Greenville; and her siblings, Jimmy Godfrey of Greer, Tommy Godfrey of Easley, Martha Church of Travelers Rest, Sue Godfrey of Marietta, Lou Grant of Easley and Kathy Lark of Mauldin. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren.
