It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta Blassingame of Piedmont, South Carolina, who passed away on September 16, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Albert Young and Lois Wakefield Young; her sons, Nathaniel "Skip" Johnson, Jr. (Vicki) of Woodbridge, VA, Christopher "Butch" Johnson of Greenville, SC, Reginald Lewis Johnson (Essie) of Greenville, SC and William Reeder of Greenville, SC; and her sisters, Shirley Jean Jones of New Haven, CT and Ann Christie of Atlanta, GA. She was also cherished by twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
