She was predeceased by: her husband David Weston Hiott; her parents, Ollie R. Churchwell and Pauline Mabry Churchwell; and her siblings, Billy M. Churchwell, Ethel C. Hopkins and Hazel C. Nations.

She is survived by: her sons, Weston Hiott of Sunset, Marc Hiott of Pickens, Tim Hiott (Kay) of Easley and Ben Hiott of Pickens; her daughter-in-law Vickie Hiott of Seneca; her grandchildren, Wes Hiott (Lindsey), Josh Hiott, Katy Hiott Whitson (Tim) and Karlee Hiott White (Ross); her great grandchildren, Eva Hiott, Hadley Hiott and Hayes Hiott; and her brother Robert Churchwell (Benita).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pickens First Baptist Church, 406 E Main Street, Pickens, SC 29671.
