She was predeceased by: her spouse Eddie Wilbur Martin; her parents, Charles E. Porter and Sarah Haney Porter; and her brother Ronald E. Porter. She is survived by: her son Jeffery S. Thrasher (Kaitlyn) of Belton; her sisters, Wanda L. Thrasher, Teresa A. Stone and Sarah P. Simpson (David); her sister-in-law Shelby Jean Martin; and her close friend Stacy Durham. She is also survived by five nephews, and two nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mountain View Funerals and Cremations - Pickens Chapel (105 Florence St, Pickens, SC 29671). A memorial service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made in Diane's honor to Cottingham Hospice House, located at 390 Keowee School Rd, Seneca, SC 29672.
