He was predeceased by: his wife Doris P. Breazeale; and his parents, Samuel D. Breazeale, Sr. and Avery Harkins Breazeale. He is survived by: his children, Dennis Porter (Cindy), Shannon Sutton (Charles), Jason Porter (Stephanie) and Sonya Cox (Dan); his grandchildren, Lydia, Emma, Zoe, Kaetlyn, Josh, Breanna, Taylor, Kamryn, Connor and Savannah; and his great grandchildren, Aiden, Lee and Adalynn Mae.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (2410 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671).
