She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Nalley and Freddie Mae Nalley; her husband Ernest Simmons; her son Robert Simmons; and her siblings, Bobby Nalley, Francis Vaughan, Barbara Childs, Carol Alexander, Janice Gassaway and Gale Nalley.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ann Nabors (Donnie), Jimmy Simmons (Patti), Randall Simmons and Timothy Simmons; and her brothers, Chupene Nalley and Wayne Nalley. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Dillard Memorial Funeral Home (2402 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
