She was predeceased by: her parents, Gemes Carr Harris and Ellen Harris; her grandson Gene Thomas McCarley; and her siblings, Jim Snyder, Bill Snyder, Jane Hoxit and Gemes Harris Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Thomas McCarley Sr.; her children, Thomas McCarley Jr. of Six Mile, Crystal McCarley (Len Morton) of Six Mile and Tessa McCarley of Nashville, TN; her grandchildren, Dusty Morton and Isaih Anders; and her sisters, Dessie Gerrald and Charlotte Sullivan (Robert). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mountain View Funerals and Cremations - Pickens Chapel (105 Florence St, Pickens, SC 29671). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at the Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery (336 Mountain View Church Rd, Six Mile, SC 29682).
