He is survived by: his parents, Sam Dodgens and Lucille Cantrell; his children, Richard Dodgens (Joyce), Maurice Dodgens (Patricia), Keith Dodgens (Robyn), Lori Dodgens and Angela Hendricks (Wade); and his siblings, Sammy Dodgens and Laura Hinds. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. in addition to his parents.
