He was predeceased by: his parents, Davis Hooper and Mable Wachob Hooper; his wife Nancy Hooper; and his brothers, Gordon Hooper and Huey Hooper.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Hooper of Clinton, JoAnn Steinseifer of Easley, Kenneth Hooper (Gina) of Powdersville, Brian Hooper (Candice) of Charleston, Patty Stenger of Liberty, Tara Johnson (Micah) of Easley and Sonja Green (Katrina) of Charleston; his grandchildren, Candace, Christine, Stanley, Derek, Amanda, Nicholas, Job, Ariana and Chase; and his siblings, James Hooper, Frank Hooper and Mary Wyatt. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
