He is survived by: his wife Cathy Bell; his son Joseph "Andy" Bell, III (Rebecca) of Duncan, SC; his grandchildren, Davis Bell, Addison Bell, Cati Grant and Georgia Grant; and his sister Alexis Phillips. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
