He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernie Plumley and Earl Plumley; his wife Patricia Plumley; his son Robert Plumley; and his siblings, Jack Plumley, Evelyn Howard, Ella Mae Plumley, Myrtle Slaton and Ludith Plumley.

He is survived by: his half-sister Linda Howard; his grandson Jason Plumley of Pickens; and also, Joyce Nelson of Greenville, Beverly Ramey of Pickens, Vernie Plumley of Pickens and Billy Plumley of Dacusville. He is also survived by 9 grandkids, and 17 great - grandchildren.
