He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jerry Cooksy, Sr. and Georganna Wersel Cooksy; his wife Tammy Raines Cooksy; his daughters, Amanda Osorio Cooksy (Rosalva) of Allen Park, MI and Emilee Cooksy (Kade) of Easley; his grandchildren, Kamden, Kyson, Karson and Krew; his siblings, Tina Christensen, Don Cooksy, Tami Loeffler (Gene), Patty Stephens (Allen) and Kathy Raines; his niece Heather Cooksy; his nephews, Zach Earl and Josh Cooksy; his close friends, Karl, Jeff, Victor and Eric; and his parents-in-law, Joel and Patsy Raines of Pickens. He was also cherished by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mountain View Funerals and Cremations - Pickens Chapel (105 Florence St, Pickens, SC 29671). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at the Bethlehem Church Cemetery (133 Bethlehem Church Rd, Pickens, SC 29671).
