He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walter Nations Sr. and Berta Kelly Nations; his brother Kinard Nations; and his son-in-law Terry Bryant. He is survived by: his spouse Donnie Spears Nations; his children, Lynn Nations of Charlotte, NC, Karen Bryant of Six Mile, SC and Chris Nations (Deana) of Six Mile, SC; his grandchildren, Dalton Nations (Rebekah), Jake Coleman, Jonah Coleman (Amelia), Jordan Coleman (Alexis), Evan Bryant (Lindsey), Heather Burke (Scott), Austin Fleming (Katherine) and Parker Fleming (Faith); and his great grandchildren, Carolina Nations, J. W. Nations, Cooper Bryant, Oliver Burke, Saylor Bryant, Madison Bryant, Opal Burke and Landry Bryant.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ridgeland Baptist Church or Interim Hospice Group.
