He was predeceased by: his father Eddy Galloway Durham; his siblings, Junior, Bill, Rufus, Joe, Clyde, Romain Chappell, Mary Lou Dillard and Mildred Durham; and his grandson Victor Kyle Lawson.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Davidson Durham; his children, Greg Durham (Dawn) and Geri Mann (David); his grandchildren, Brad Durham, Tyler Lawson (Courtney), Dawson Mann and Sawyer Mann; and his great grandchildren, Aubree, Rhett, Brinleigh and Asher.
