It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hildred Newton Lewis (Pickens, South Carolina), who passed away on January 28, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Lewis and Mildred Bailey Lewis; his daughter Amanda Victoria Lewis; and his siblings, Velma Waldrop, Evelyn Porter, Berce Lewis, Lester Lewis, Garvin Lewis and Wallace Lewis.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Victoria Hill Lewis; his children, Deborah Lewis of Pickens, Donna Jean Wilson (Lamott) of Easley and Michael N. Lewis of Easley; his grandchildren, Dustin Sexton of Pickens, Jessee Sexton of Spartanburg and Kayla Gray Lewis of Piedmont; his great grandchildren, Kaitlin, Koby and Kaden of Piedmont; and his brother T. J. Lewis of Pickens. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
