He was predeceased by: his spouse Bobbie Nell Jackson; his parents, Jesse Jackson and Ruth Jane Pettit Jackson; and his siblings, Grover Jackson, Junior Jackson, Bobby Jackson and Annie Ruth Wilson.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Patricia Carpenter of Easley; his children, Pamela Morton of Pickens, Lynn Jackson of Liberty, Amy Morton of Westminster and Tom Jackson of Liberty; his grandchildren, David Morton, Tyler Johnson, Amber Duncan, Dustin Jackson, Kelly Jackson and Terra Powell; and his brother William "Dude" Jackson of Whitesburg, Georgia.. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Fred's honor may be made to Pickens County Senior Center, 349 Edgemont Ave, Liberty, SC 29657.
