She was predeceased by: her husband David Herbert Connelly; her parents, William Bryant Smith and Sarah Newman Smith; and her stepmother Annie Mae Neal Smith of Kershaw, SC.. She is survived by: her daughter Debby Connelly (Cody Dibella) of Augusta, GA; her grandsons, Dylan and Hunter Edmonds; her brother William B. Smith (Gwen Allen) of Statesboro, GA; and her sister-in-law Carol Connelly of Charleston, SC..
