He is survived by: his children, Brandon Sheriff, Ashley Valdivia and Laura Sheriff; his siblings, Brenda Nichols, Robert Sheriff, Barbara Bowen, James Sheriff and Mary Bryant; his cousin Benny Hartsell; and his close friend Dean Merck. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
