She was predeceased by: her mother Ettie Reid; her stepfather Claude Reid; and her siblings, Marion Gantt, Douglas Reid, Thomas Reid and Louann Lay of Pickens.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Duckworth; her children, Eugene Powell (Tish) of Pickens, Keith Powell (Michelle) of Pickens, Kristi Riddle (Tony) of Pickens and Kevin Duckworth (Lauren) of Duncan; her grandchildren, Eric Powell (Jenna), C. C. Crump (Austin), Justin Powell, Logan Riddle and Owen Duckworth; and her sister Linda Champion of Pickens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Carolyn's honor may be made to Maranatha Baptist Church, 114 Maranatha Dr, Pickens, SC 29671.
