He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Gary Watson and Nettie Porter Watson; his grandparents, Hort Watson, Bessie Watson, Cul Porter and Mary Jane Porter; and his brother Donald Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Rachel Watson; his sons, Greg Watson of Easley and Russ Watson of Pickens; his grandchildren, Stephanie Watson Pilgrim, Ashley Watson Porter (Jamie), Brandon Watson, Nicole Purnell (Keith), Michelle Neal, Kimberly Watson, Amy Hall (Corey) and Young; and his brother Gary Watson (Edna). He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
