He is survived by: his mother Wendy Tinsley (Duane) of Morganton, NC; his wife Lena Sue Whitmire; his daughters, McKinsey Marie Sue Whitmire of Pickens, Breana Nicole Whitmire of Pickens and Hannah Grace Whitmire of Pickens; his stepmother Angie Whitmire of Pickens; his siblings, Chelsea Lesley (Shaun) of Ayden, NC, Samantha Tinsley of Easley, Jeremy Whitmire of Liberty, Jonathan Whitmire of Morganton, NC, Charlie Tinsley (Brittany) of Marion, NC, Joshua Tinsley of Morganton, NC and Kendrick Tinsley of Morganton, NC; his stepsiblings, Jessica Williams (T. J.) and Justin Smith; and his father-in-law Marshall Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roanoke Baptist Church (400 Roanoke Rd, Liberty, SC 29657). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at the Roanoke Baptist Church Cemetery (400 Roanoke Rd, Liberty, SC 29657).
