He was predeceased by: his wife Eva Mull Meece; his parents, Rev. Jesse Meece and Reba Raines Meece; and his siblings, Shirley Powell and Henry Meece.
He is survived by: his daughter Rhonda Grant (Ed) of Six Mile; his grandson Jed Grant (Ella) of Six Mile; his great grandchild Sam Grant of Six Mile; and his siblings, Harrison Meece of Pickens, Hoyt Meece of Pickens, Carolyn Ross of Six Mile, Freda Wilkerson of Six Mile, Tony Meece of Anderson and Nick Meece of Anderson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Billy's honor may be made to the Red Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 558 Red Hill Rd, Pickens, SC.
