She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanor Kist and Richard Kist; and her brother Frederick Kist. She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey (Carole), Scott (Sabina), Brian (Dawn) and Sean (Lucienne); her grandchildren, Conner (Mao), Sara (Sheridan), Katherine, Jackson, Chiara, Autumn and Fiona; her nephew Richard; and her sister-in-law Anne.

Donations, if you are inclined, to the Upstate Parkinson's Society because Barbara believed communities thrive when people roll up their sleeves.
