It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Elaine (Kist) Dooley (Pickens, South Carolina), who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eleanor Kist and Richard Kist; and her brother Frederick Kist. She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey (Carole), Scott (Sabina), Brian (Dawn) and Sean (Lucienne); her grandchildren, Conner (Mao), Sara (Sheridan), Katherine, Jackson, Chiara, Autumn and Fiona; her nephew Richard; and her sister-in-law Anne.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dillard Memorial Funeral Home (2402 Gentry Memorial Hwy, Pickens, SC 29671). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
