She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolphus Patterson and Gracie Reid Patterson; her former husband Earl Maddox, Sr.; her sons, Earl Maddox Jr. and Paul Maddox; and her husband Willis Hardwick.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Mary Lois Patterson and Anna Paterson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
