It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Earl Martin of Pendleton, South Carolina, born in Anderson, South Carolina, who passed away on January 5, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Chessley Roy and Maybelle Smith Martin; his granddaughter Crystal Martin; and his siblings, Annie Saxton, Ruby Wentzky, Joe Martin, JC Martin, Dick Martin and Elizabeth Brooks.
He is survived by: his wife Dorcas Martin; his children, Randy Martin (Jennifer), Leroy Martin (Jan) and Paula Haney (Steve); his grandchildren, Josh Martin (Sandra), Seth Martin (Leigh), Holly Dunn (David), Magen Dorius (Kyle) and Chessley Martin; his great grandchildren, Noah Martin, Brayden Carithers, Easton Carithers, Ellie Dorius, Drew Martin and Scottie Lynn Dunn; his great great grandchild Bane Martin; and his siblings, Nannie Busha, Lucille Wilson, Margaret Ellis, Audrey Willis, Diane Crawford and Ned Martin.
