He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Ward and Jessie Ward; and his brothers, Jerry, Bobby and David Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Ward; his son John Ward (Tammy); his stepsons, Eric White (Patricia) and Andrew White (Kimberly); his daughters, Susan McGill (Billy), Sandra Parham (James) and Kim Brank (Scott); and his sister Marie Roberts. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
