He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara; and his siblings, Wallace, Carl, Rufus, Norman, Sarah, Janet and Sybil.
He is survived by: his parents, Rufus Walter and Mattie Lucille Traynum (Elrod); his children, Marty Traynum of Kingston Springs, TN and Pam Glasser (Mark) of Central; and also Tammy of Kingston Springs, TN. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and eighteen great grandchildren.
