He was predeceased by: his parents, Mac Land and Laura Bell Land. He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his daughter Lori Byrd (Gary) of Lexington, SC; his grandchildren, Grayson and Jackson; his sister Nancy Morrison of Hartsville; and his pets, Zoe and Gentleman Jack. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of the Upstate.
